Saturday, 9 January 2010 – at 11.30 and following a brief ceremony, the Tibetan Lamas from the Monastery of Gaden Jangtse (South India) will inaugurate a sacred Mandala of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, inside Galleria Alberto Sordi.

On the occasion of the Italian film premier of "I am legend", Warner Bros. Pictures Italia, in collaboration with Radio Dimensione Suono, organized a Meet&Greet with the film’s star, Will Smith, in the Galleria Alberto Sordi.
Mandala for Peace 2007
The Galleria Alberto Sordi has hosted the Tibetan Monks from the Gaden Jang Tse monastery in India on three separate occasions. The monks were invited to Rome by the Samantabhadra Institute, the oldest Buddhism study center.
ACLI May 1st, 2008
On May 1, 2008 the Galleria Alberto Sordi hosted a project organized by the ACLI (Christian Italian Worker’s Association) titled “Safety in the Lead” a show dedicated to children and their parents.
